This past week we finished up the Untouchables SYM series. (we did them in a different order) We ended with homosexuality. I had several students come to me afterwards and thank me for addressing this subject and doing it in a way that was, in their words, “so respectful.” Living in this area (just outside of Richmond, VA) I think many young people who struggle with sexuality in general find a lot of rejection. I know there are several of our students who have friends that are homosexuals and they see how they are treated. So, I just wanted to say thanks for this great resource. |
