Ever heard a teenager complain that the Bible is boring, irrelevant, or outdated? Looking for a tool to engage students in building a lifelong habit of reading, studying, and following God's Word?
Help teenagers explore the life-giving richness of God's Word with this DVD-based curriculum from Johnny Scott, Christ In Youth's junior high program director, and teenage author and speaker Jacqueline Pierre.
Each session features a teaching segment filmed on location overseas, helping your students visually experience the history and richness of God's Word. The series includes four powerful lessons:
- Lesson 1: How the Word began [5:13]
- Lesson 2: The Word comes alive [7:32]
- Lesson 3: Hide the Word in your heart [4:35]
- Lesson 4: The Word tells us about our hope [4:14]
The curriculum includes loads of useful materials to help you, including discussion guides, promotional materials, and more. And because all of the resources are editable and reproducible, you can tweak away and infuse them with your ministry's unique flavor!
Johnny Scott is the program director of Christ In Youth's Believe Tour. When not on the road at a Believe conference or playing with the worship band Foundation Red, Johnny can be found at home playing Scrabble¨ with his wife, Jennifer, or wrestling with his three boys, Riley, Aiden, and Finnley. Johnny and his family live in Joplin, Missouri.
A public speaker and (self-proclaimed) golf team captain, Jacqueline Pierre has shared with more than 20,000 students about the transmission of the English Bible, a subject especially near and dear to her heart. Her family owns one of the largest collections of rare manuscripts and early-edition Bibles in private hands. This collection, the VanKampen Collection, is housed at the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida, where Jacqueline lives with her parents, Scott and Karla, and her older brother, Robert.
