We youth workers sure do talk a lot, don't we? But having the kinds of conversations where students openly and honestly share what's in their hearts and on their minds—that can be quite a challenge.
Longtime youth worker Rachel Blom wants you to succeed in opening up authentic dialogue with teenagers so you can share the amazing truth of how God loves them and calls them to lead lives of Jesus-centered significance.
In Beyond Small Talk, you'll discover effective tips and strategies for listening well, building trust, initiating conversations about God, asking solid questions that get students talking, appreciating the power of silence, and knowing what to say—and not to say!
You have the amazing opportunity to connect with teenagers and engage them in conversations that may start as rather uninspiring chats about the latest movie or TV series but can transform into life-changing dialogue that will impact a student's life forever.
Sounds like something worth talking about.
